Statement of Faith

At Cultivate Global, our mission is grounded in the Christian faith and guided by the truth of Scripture. We affirm the following foundational beliefs:

1. The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21)

2. God

We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19)

3. Jesus Christ

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory. (John 1:1–5, 14; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11)

4. The Holy Spirit

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life and empowered for service. (John 14:16–17; Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22–25)

5. Salvation

We believe that salvation is a free gift of God’s grace, received by faith in Jesus Christ alone. Through repentance and faith, all who believe are born again and become children of God. (Ephesians 2:8–9; John 3:16; Romans 10:9–10)

6. The Church

We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ and in the universal Church, which is His body. We are called to participate in the mission of God through worship, discipleship, service, and outreach. (1 Corinthians 12:12–27; Matthew 28:19–20)

7. Humanity

We believe that all people are made in the image of God and are of equal worth and dignity. However, all have sinned and fall short of God’s glory, and are in need of redemption. (Genesis 1:26–27; Romans 3:23)

8. Mission and Compassion

We believe the Church is called to extend the love and justice of Jesus Christ to the world — proclaiming the Gospel, defending the vulnerable, pursuing peace and reconciliation, and meeting both spiritual and physical needs. (Isaiah 1:17; Matthew 25:35–40; James 1:27)

About Cultivate Global

Why We Organize Mission Trips and Their Impact

At Cultivate Global, we believe that being the hands and feet of Jesus Christ means serving others where they are, meeting their needs, and sharing God’s love through the Gospel. Our mission trips aim to impact rural Tanzanian communities by fostering long-term relationships and contributing to sustainable development in education and agriculture.

Mission, Vision, and Purpose

Mission: To enhance lives globally through Gospel-centered ministry and agricultural development.

Vision: To multiply disciples of Christ by developing sustainable agriculture that supports long-lasting ministry.

Purpose: To point people to the love of Christ by faithfully stewarding all He has given us for the good of others and the glory of God.

Why We Go

The Purpose of the Trip

We do not believe in handouts but in meaningful partnerships. Through partnerships with international groups and local communities, we aim to support sustainable development projects aligned with our mission. Our goal is to ensure that everything we do is rooted in Scripture and beneficial for the expansion of God’s Kingdom. Rather than simply providing temporary aid, we equip communities with the skills and tools necessary to foster longterm self-sufficiency.

Our focus is not to “carry” communities but to walk alongside them, empowering them to take ownership of their progress. We achieve this by oOering leadership training, business advising, and resource facilitation, ensuring that those we serve are equipped to train and support others in their communities.

  • Building relationships with students at the schools we visit.
  • Sharing personal testimonies and the Gospel at chapel services, during small group discussions, or in rural church settings.
  • Participating in corporate worship alongside villagers, experiencing the unity of faith across cultures.

Fundraising Guide

Tips for Fundraising

Fundraising can be an incredible part of the mission experience, allowing others to join in the work through their financial support.

Suggested fundraising methods:

  • Personalized support letters (see template below)—Clearly explain the purpose of your trip and why their support is impactful.
  • Calling close friends and family—A personal approach is often more effective than mass emails.
  • Let your church community and small groups know—They may offer financial support or prayer.
  • Leverage social media—Sharing your journey and progress through a crowdfunding campaign.

How Donations Work

Donors can contribute in two ways:

  1. Direct Contributions to You — Supporters give funds directly to you, which you then submit to Cultivate Global through one donation.
  2. Donations to Cultivate Global — For those seeking a tax deduction, contributions must be made directly to Cultivate Global.

Donations can be made using one of the following methods:

Dear [Supporter’s Name],

I am excited to share that I have the opportunity to travel with Cultivate Global to Tanzania for a mission trip focused on spreading the Gospel through education and agriculture.

Cultivate Global focuses on two main areas:

  1. Training Farms
They establish locally led farms designed to meet physical needs, create jobs, and strengthen communities through modern, sustainable agriculture. Each farm is tailored to its region, ensuring the most effective livestock and crop production. As needs are met, they are able to share the hope of the gospel, making the farm a hub for both physical and spiritual growth.
  2. Discipleship Centers
They believe real change happens when people grow in their relationship with Jesus. Their discipleship work focuses on evangelizing the lost, establishing new believers, and equipping maturing Christians to disciple others. Through intentional teaching, mentorship, and accountability, they help believers grow strong in their faith so they can multiply it.

I would be incredibly grateful for your prayers and financial support as I prepare for this journey. The total cost of my trip is $[total cost], and I am seeking [a specific amount or general support] to help cover travel, lodging, meals, and ministry activities.

[Share why you feel called to this mission trip and what you’re most looking forward to experiencing.]

If you feel led to support me, you can donate through Cultivate Global’s website https://cultivateglobal.org/donate/ using the memo format: [Last Name] – TZ Trip Spring 20XX.

Thank you for considering supporting me in this mission—your generosity and prayers mean so much!

Blessings,
[Your Name]

Packing List

We recommend packing as light as you’re comfortable with. Travelers rarely find themselves wishing they had packed more. With multiple opportunities to wash clothing, bringing fewer items makes travel easier and more convenient for both you and the group.

We trust your judgment, but after years of experience with this trip, we’ve learned what is essential versus what is simply ‘nice to have’. Remember, this is a mission trip, and feeling a little uncomfortable at times can be a great opportunity for growth.

For convenience, we typically recommend each traveler bring one checked bag and a backpack as a personal item. This makes navigating airports much easier. As with any international travel, there is always a possibility that your checked bag may not arrive on time. To prepare for this, pack a change of clothes and essential toiletries in your carryon or personal item.
