What We Do
Bringing hope to people in need of the love of Jesus Christ
Church Planting
Planting gospel centered churches is at the heart of everything we do. Finding the right person to shepherd a local congregation is not something we take lightly. The pastoral leader shapes the church’s foundation, and we believe that foundation must be rooted in the truth of the gospel, taught faithfully and without compromise.
Our approach is rooted in the Great Commission: to make faithful, mature followers of Christ. Discipleship is not just about conversion. It is about multiplication. We walk alongside individuals, helping them grow in love for and obedience to Jesus, so they can go on to disciple others. We emphasize personal relationships, biblical teaching, accountability, and prayer, modeled after the life and ministry of Jesus.
We approach the search for pastoral leadership from two directions. When we have existing local connections and are introduced to a lead pastor candidate, we will interview that individual multiple times, have our local Cultivate Global advisory board meet with them, and then have them walk through a two year pastoral training curriculum in partnership with one of our trusted ministry partners. That curriculum centers on how to study and teach the Word of God accurately, passage by passage.
The second path begins with the training itself. When an individual completes the pastoral training program and stands out as a strong candidate, our ministry partner will connect us with them directly. From there, we walk through the same process to determine whether they are the right fit for one of our church plants.
Our most important standard remains the same regardless of how we find them: we plant churches that are gospel centered and teach directly from Scripture. Every other aspect of our church planting strategy flows from that conviction.

Agricultural Projects
Our farms are built on the biblical principle of equipping others rather than simply doing it for them. These farms are designed to meet physical needs in practical, lasting ways, creating natural opportunities to share the greatest hope we have: the gospel.
Our approach is central to what makes Cultivate Global’s ministry model work. In order to build a self-funded ministry, we needed a solution that creates genuine economic sustainability in the communities where we are. That means local jobs, a better quality of life, and a source of cash flow that supports the mission without relying on donor funds indefinitely.
We set out to use our passion for people and agriculture in a practical way. Each farm is designed around the most profitable and practical crops and livestock for that specific region, incorporating modern agricultural methods that are often new to the communities where we work. We are intentional about being innovative in our approach, introducing techniques and systems that improve yields, reduce waste, and create long term viability rather than just short term output. Each farm is built to generate income that funds the ministry around it, so we can continue expanding to new locations rather than sustaining the same ones forever.
The key to making this work is finding the right farm manager for each location. This is one of the things that sets us apart. Each farm manager is identified and interviewed in person in the United States at Griess Farms in Nebraska. We have a unique opportunity to work with individuals who have completed their college education in their home country, have been accepted into an agricultural work visa program, and are placed as trainees on farms throughout the Midwest. This experience exposes them to large scale, modern farming operations and gives them practical skills they can bring directly back to their communities.
Those who work with Griess Farms and meet our requirements, demonstrate a genuine passion for agricultural work, and have a real desire to improve their home country are offered the opportunity to operate a Cultivate Global farm where they live. This eliminates the significant capital barrier they would otherwise face to start their own venture, gives them a stable and meaningful career, and allows Cultivate Global to fund the farm through the early stages until it reaches a point where donor support is no longer needed for that location.
We always have a profitability plan in place so that when a farm becomes self-sufficient, we can direct our resources toward starting the next farm or planting the next church.

Where we are planted
Africa
Tanzania
Mavuno Complex
Mavuno Complex is Cultivate Global’s flagship location in Babati, Tanzania. Mavuno means “harvest” in Swahili, reflecting our vision to see both physical and spiritual fruit in the communities we serve. The complex functions as a hub for our first training farm and church plant.
It models sustainable agriculture, creates local jobs, and serves as a gathering place for spiritual growth and training. Through its programs, Mavuno empowers the surrounding community both physically and spiritually, setting the standard for future locations across Tanzania.
Nonkodin Secondary School
Noonkodin Secondary School is located in the mountain region north of Monduli, Tanzania, and serves students from the Maasai tribe. Cultivate Global partnered with the school to help revitalize its operations and establish agricultural programs that generate income, provide food, and teach practical trade skills.
We also worked alongside school leadership to integrate biblically focused curriculum and implement strategies for long-term financial stability. Today, Noonkodin is equipping secondary students with both academic knowledge and the skills needed to thrive in their communities.
Cornerstone Schools of Africa
Cornerstone Schools of Africa serves elementary students in Chalinze, Tanzania, and was the first project Cultivate Global undertook in the country. Our work included funding the construction of a new facility and providing essential supplies to ensure the school could operate effectively.
With a Christ-centered approach to education, Cornerstone continues to offer a strong academic foundation while planting seeds of faith in the lives of young students.
